Lazy Italian Burger Hoagie

Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 10-15 min
Serves: 1 per sammich
Difficulty: As easy as beating COD
Recommended Sides: A beer, chips, fries, mashed taters, a quiet evening.

Ingredients:
Leftover hamburgers
Some bread/bun
2 Tomatoes
1 Green onion
1/4 Onion
2 Cloves garlic
1 TBS oregano
1 TBS Italian seasoning
Cheese
A little lettuce
Tomato Sauce (optional)

Step 1: Realize You’re Tired Of Burgers
If you’re like me, you make food in batches. That means you have a lot of leftovers, and sometimes you get tired of shoveling in another burger. Not to fear, there are always options! Chop up the veggies and toss them into a pot with the spices. Once they start to brown, toss in the tomato.

Step 2:  Heat the Meat
Chop up your burger. You can either microwave it for  few minutes, or toss it in with the veggies. Either way works.  While this is all heating up, toss your bun/bread in the broiler till it browns. Then just assemble.

Step 3: Enjoy the Variety
There are a million ways to eat a burger in a way that makes it not a burger. The same goes with pretty much every meal you make in bulk. The moral of the story is that creativity goes a long way, and you can take a boring meal/ingredient and make it awesome. Play around, get drunk and experiment, go crazy!
