Easy Blackened Salmon

Prep Time: 5 Min
Cook Time: 8-10 min
Serves: 2-3
Difficulty: Easiest recipe to date
Recommended Sides: Rice, friends, potato, green beans, and Adventure Time.

2 Salmon fillets
1/4 onion
1 tomato
2 TBS paprika
1 TBS cayenne powder
2 TSP pepper
1 TSP salt
1 TSP oregano
1 TSP onion powder
1/2 TSP thyme

Step 1: Combine and Conquer
Combine all the powders in a bowl. Next, cover your salmon with butter on all sides. Sprinkle the magic powder on all sides.

Step 2: Butter Up!
Butter up a pan and toss in the fish. Push it around for 2-3 minutes per side. On one side of the pan, you can cook the onion. Or don’t, whatever.

Step 3: Done
I topped my salmon pita monster with onion, tomato, and leftover curry sauce. I would also recommend adding cilantro, sriracha, or something spicy. Enjoy!
