Step 1: O’ Saturday, Where Art Ye?
Let’s say your SO is upstairs sleeping off a fight and a hangover. It’s Saturday morning, the sun is out, and you want everything to be okay. Food heals all wounds, so grab your spatula and prepare yourself for the best make-up breakfast you’ve ever made! Start by chopping the onion and peppers, and toss them into a heated pan with olive oil.
Step 2: Baby, We’ll be Rye
While keeping an eye on the onions and peppers, slice up some fancy bread. Butter both sides sides, and turn on the broiler. Add salt, pepper, and onion powder if you have it. Cheese up one side and toss them into the broiler. And Cut up the tomato while you’re at it.
Step 3: That’s the Power of Broil
The onion and peppers are done right when they start to brown. Take them off the heat and pull the bread out of the broiler. On the cheesy side, add some peppers and onions, followed tomato, and finally the turkey. And that’s it. It’s that simple. It’s also pretty healthy and quite damn delicious. When you wake up your SO with the amazing smell this sandwich produces, s/he will immediately remember why it’s worthwhile to put up with you. It will also cure a hangover (patent pending).
