The Sidehackers Steak Salad

Prep Time: About the same amount of time it takes to read this post
Cook Time: >10 min
Serves: 2-4
Difficulty: I once saw a lemur who could make this, and he wasn’t particularly bright
Recommended Sides:  Bread, cheese, beer, sunshine, and ice cream sandwiches.

1 Flank steak
3 Eggs
1/2 Pepper (yellow, red, whatever)
1/4 Red Onion
1/4 Bunch cilantro
1 Tomato
Some Carrots
Garlic salt
Steak seasoning

So last week we learned about “no meat Mondays” and thought it was pretty ridiculous. But give the people what they want, right? Wrong. Say hello to our new weekly segment: MORE MEAT MONDAYS!

Step 1: Eggies and Meats
Boil some water in a big pot and toss in 3 eggs. Well don’t toss, but gently settle them in so as no to let them break. I boil mine for just about 10 minutes. This is the perfect time to ready the meat! Slap that steak on the table and slice it into thin strips. Cover it with the seasonings above and put it on the stove on medium until they are just the tiniest amount red.

Step 2: Check Yourself for Salad
Chop up all the salad stuff and put it into a bowl. Yup, you could probably have guessed this one on your own. When the eggs are done boiling, set them aside for a few minutes (maybe in the fridge) and let them cool off. Chop them into strips and throw them into the bowl. Do the same with the meat, and eat!
