Cookies of The Lost World

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Serves: You for about one awesome week
Difficulty: Dude, you can do this.
Recommended Sides:  This is a dessert, why are you reading this?

1 1/2 cup sugar
3 TBS cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk (or soy milk…)
1 Stick Butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup Nutella
3 cup quick oats
Some leftover chocolate chips
Wax paper

Step 1: Mix, Mash, and Boil (But Not too Much…)
Bring the sugar, cocoa, milk and butter to a boil for a minute in a large pot. We tried to double boil ours, but it took so damn long that we went ahead and tossed it into a pot. Surprisingly, it didn’t stick to the sides (probably because of the entire stick of butter). Turn the heat on low and throw in everything else, stirring all the time until it has an even consistency. Take it off the heat and spread out some wax paper. Easy as shit, right?

Step 2: Wait For A Tad
Scoop the goop out in tablespoon sized portions and lay them onto wax paper. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes to harden up. Now’s a good time to finish that homework, project, application, whatevs. Our cookies tasted even better the following day, so don’t be afraid to forget about them for a while (covered, of course). Congrats! Now you can make your friends jealous of your baking prowess!
