Cave Dwellers (The Sausage Master)

Prep Time: 15 minutes (All choppin’)
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 2-4 bipeds
Difficulty: If you were one of those kids who wasn’t allowed to play with plastic  scissors in school, stay away from this recipe
Recommended side dishes: Green beans, mashed taters, Jo-jos, an old copy of Crash Bandicoot, salad, and a laptop.

Hot Italian Sausage!
1/2-1 onion
1 Yellow pepper (or green)
1 Red Pepper (or orange)
1 Jalapeno
Square pita bread
Whatever cheese you’ve got
1-2 TBS vegetable oil
1 Egg white
Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1: Chop, chop, chop, chop
Make tiny bits out of the veggies. Set the oven to 400.

Step 2: Make Your House Smell Awesome
Toss the the oil and chopped up veggies on the stove on medium-high . While this is cooking, chop up the sausage to itty, bitty, bite-sized pieces. Once The veggies sweat and start to get limpy and tasty (8 minutes or so), push them all over to one side. Put the meat on the open side and flip them until they’re fully cooked. Mix it all together and smell the awesome.

Step 3: Hot Snausage Party
Put the pita squares on foil and add some cheese. Throw on the delicious veggie/meat mix and start rolling. Add a little egg white at the end of the roll to seal the pita shut. Throw it in the oven until the pita gets crunchy. Add cheese on top for bonus points.

Step 4: Figure Out How to Put It In Your Mouth
Put it in your mouth, masticate, and repeat. For best results dine with a friend or love-partner.
