Quest of the Tater Knights

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Serves: 2-3
Difficulty: None. There is no difficulty involved whatsoever
Recommended Main Dishes: Burgers, meatloaf, steak, breakfast stuff, bbq stuff, or loneliness.

Ingredients:
2 Pieces of bacon per person
1 Potato per person
1 TBS steakchop
1 TSP Chili powder
1/4 cup olive oil
Some cheese (optional)

Step 1: Spuds and Suds
Drink a beer. Then chop your potatoes super skinny, the skinnier the better. Chop up the bacon in tiny bits as well and set aside.

Step 2: Crank Up the Heat
Throw the potatoes in a pan and set your stove somewhere between medium and high. Slowly add steakchop and chili powder as it’s cooking. Try to separate all of the clusters with your spatula, and flip the potatoes enough to keep them from burning.

Step 3: Bacon Blues
Throw the bacon bits in a separate pan and cook until almost done. If you timed this right, the potatoes should also be getting close to done, so add the bacon to the potatoes. You can continue to add chili powder and steakchop as needed, but don’t salt it too much.

Step 4: Win
When everything is cooked to your liking, take it off the heat and throw cheese on it (unless you’re a lactard). You can either broil it to melt the cheese, or just nuke it. I don’t recommend making this everyday because you will start sweating bacon grease, but I hear some chicks are into that. Enjoy!

  1. This looks awesome, and I can’t wait to try it. What’s steakchop? I’ve never heard of it.

Thanks! It’s just steak seasoning, any kind will be fine. Let us know how it turns out!
